Buying Resale HDB

Restriction for SPR   

To buy an HDB resale flat, buyers MUST be married couple, at least 1 Singapore Citizen or 2 Singapore Permanent Residents

Single SPR cannot buy any HDB flat
 
If both buyers are SPR:-
          - They can only buy HDB resale flats after 3-years from the date obtaining SPR status 

          - No subsidy for any HDB house improvement/ upgrading project (if any) 
 
          - Not allow to sublet the whole HDB flat even after meeting the minimum occupation period of 5 years
 
          - Not eligible for HDB Housing Loan (HLE) or Housing Grant
 
          - Not eligible to buy BTO flat/ new Executive Condominium (EC)
